Women delegation, consisting of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) members, visited Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who have held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse for 42 days demanding justice for their relatives.  “Even if it takes too long, the truth will always come out in the end, and those who committed the massacre will be punished,” the women said.

Riha - The relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız attacked the Şenyaşar family members’ shop and wounded several of them. After the wounded members were taken to the hospital, they attacked the hospital and killed Emine Şenyaşar’s husband Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar, her sons Adil and Celal Şenyaşar. İdil Uğurlu: Those who committed massacre will be punished

HDK Co-spokesperson İdil Uğurlu made a statement on behalf of women and she said, “Making such a statement under these circumstances is very difficult for us. We listened to the mother’s (Emine Şenyaşar) demands. What is happening here is a family’s demand for justice. The only thing done by the family is demanding justice. They don’t demand anything else. The Şenyaşar family demands the truth to be revealed. This demand is a humanitarian demand. We say once again that we stand by the Şenyaşar family and the truth. Even if it takes too long, the truth will always come out in the end, and those who committed the massacre will be punished.”
