Sit-in protest of Baloch women in Islamabad continues
Baloch women have been holding a sit-in protest in Islamabad for 22 days, demanding the release of BYC leaders and disclosure of the whereabouts of forcibly disappeared Baloch people.

News Center – A sit-in protest by Baloch women in Islamabad entered its 21st day on Tuesday. Baloch women demand the release of the leaders of the Baloch Yekjehti Committee (BYC) and disclosure of the whereabouts of forcibly disappeared Baloch people.
Gathered in front of the Press Club in Islamabad, the women said, “We are determined to hold our sit-in protest despite the ongoing harassment, intimidation and threats. We stand firm. Release our loved ones, Baloch activists.
The families of forcibly disappeared Baloch persons and detained BYC leaders travelled from Balochistan to Islamabad and have been holding a sit-in protest in Islamabad for 22 days to demand justice. They vow to continue their sit-in protests until their demands are met.
