Halabja - On April 15, Turkey launched an airstrike on Zap, Avaşin, and Metina regions in the Kurdistan Region. On April 17, it launched a new ground and air cross-border operation in the Kurdistan Region. Meanwhile, the KDP sent its forces to Şêladizê and Dêrelûk.

Many organizations and the people in the Kurdistan Region keep condemning the attacks carried out by Turkey in cooperation with the KDP. Stating that neighboring countries always want to invade Kurdish regions, Nermin Sadiq of Halabja said, “Iraq attacked Halabja by using chemical weapons. Turkey wants to occupy every inch of Kurdistan. The villagers cannot be engaged in agriculture due to the threat of the Turkish state. If the KDP doesn’t pave the way for the occupiers, no one can cross the borders of Kurdistan. We can stand against the occupation together.”

Call for boycott

Calling for boycotting Turkish goods, Nermin Sadiq said, “By boycotting the products of the Turkish state, we can harm it commercially. The Turkish state is against the Kurds here, as in Turkey. It is the enemy of the four parts of Kurdistan.”
