News Center- An MP of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, a political party in the Kurdistan Region, has recently announced that a plastic surgeon raped five women in the Kurdistan Region.

“The plastic surgeon had sexual intercourse with women without their consent after establishing trust by promising to marry them,” the MP said. Shortly after the announcement, the Ministry of Health has announced that an investigation has been launched into the incident.

According to the laws of the Kurdistan Region, having sexual intercourse with a woman after promising to marry her is the crime of rape. And the perpetrators are sentenced to more than three years in prison.
