Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 381st day.

In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse from their house in Suruç district to keep holding their sit-in protest. They held a banner reading, “They killed my husband and two sons! There is not a single arrestee. One of my sons has been held in solitary confinement for four years by the orders of superiors. I demand the immediate release of my son. Justice for the Şenyaşar family, justice for everyone.”

“One day, the mother struggling for justice in front of the courthouse will definitely prevail. The law of the superiors will come to an end. Human dignity and justice will prevail,” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account.
