The Şenyaşar family has demanded justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 361 days. The family calls everyone to hold their protest together on the 365^th day of their protest.

Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 361^st day.

The Şenyaşar family came in front of the courthouse in the morning to keep holding their protest. The family started their sit-in protest last year on March 9. Today, they call on everyone to support them on March 9.

“I demand justice for everyone”

Emine Şenyaşar calls on everyone to join them to hold a sit-in protest on March 9. “We call on everyone to support us. When people visit me, I become happy. My son has been held in solitary confinement, I demand his release. I demand those who carried out a massacre at the hospital be arrested. I demand justice for everyone. Everyone should support us no matter wherever they are. Those who cannot come here can pray for us. We are oppressed here while the killers are free. I will stay here until justice is delivered. On March 9, we will hold our protest for a year. If justice isn’t delivered, I can spend one more year here,” she said.
