The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar will enter its 200^th day on Friday. 200 lawyers are expected to support the family on Friday.

Riha- The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 197^th day.

Today, Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar went in front of the courthouse to demand justice again by holding a placard reading, “We just demand justice.” Emine Şenyaşar reminded that their protest will enter its 200^th day on Friday (September 24), “200 lawyers will join us on Friday to make our voice heard. We have been battered, detained here. Police officers follow our every step. We have faced persecution for nearly 200 days. We demand the end of this persecution and justice be delivered. We need the support of lawyers; we expect all lawyers here on Friday. They should inform their colleagues to join us on Friday. If I see them here, I will feel a little happier.”
