Riha- The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 200^th day today. The family has demanded justice in front of Urfa Courthouse for 200 days.

“We have been demanding justice in front of Şanlıurfa Courthouse for 200 days. Along with 200 lawyers, we will meet with the chief prosecutor to initiate legal action (We hope that the authorized prosecutor will initiate the legal process to convince our family and the public opinion,” says the tweet posted by the family.

Lawyers to issue a statement

Hundreds of lawyers are expected to participate in the Şenyaşar family's sit-in protest for justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse upon the call of the Lawyers Association for Freedom (ÖHD) Urfa Branch, and to issue a statement at 14:00.
