“Knights of the Sun” — A Song Commemorating the Heroes of the Sheikh Maqsoud Resistance.
The Makhmour Camp Culture and Arts Center produced a song honoring Ziad Halab and comrades who fought HTS and Turkish-backed forces until martyrdom in battle.
Makhmour — On January 6 of last year, jihadists from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and mercenaries of the Turkish occupation launched a brutal attack against the Kurdish people in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh in the city of Aleppo.
The General Commander of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), Ziad Halab, and his comrades confronted these attacks with courage and self-sacrifice until their martyrdom, inscribing an epic of heroism and joining the ranks of the immortals.
To commemorate these selfless fighters from among the Kurdish people, the Culture and Arts Center in Makhmour released a song titled “Knights of the Sun,” serving as a symbol of their sacrifices, their steadfast position on the front line of resistance and defense, and a documentation of their historic heroism.
