Women to form “Women’s Network” to be in solidarity with Afghan women

Women’s Platform for Equality held two virtual meetings to discuss how they can be in solidarity with Afghan women. After the meeting, the organization announced that they will form a “Women’s Network” working for Afghan women.

News Center- Women’s Platform for Equality (Eşitlik İçin Kadın Platformu -EŞİK) held two virtual meetings to discuss how they can be in solidarity with Afghan women. More than 200 women from Afghanistan, the USA, Australia, Brazil, Britain, Indonesia, Estonia, Eswatini, Philippines, France, South Africa, Croatia, India, Iran, Italy, Canada, Cyprus, Lebanon, Mozambique, Pakistan, Turkey, and Greece joined the meetings. “Women in Afghanistan and women of the world share the common fate and there is an attack on women's rights all over the world,” the women said during the meetings.

Women will form a “Women’s Network”

After the second meeting, EŞİK announced that they will form a “Women’s Network” to be in solidarity with Afghan women. The virtual meetings will continue to be held by women.
