Iranian activist Nesibe Şemsai goes missing!
Lawyer of Iranian activist Nesibe Şemsai, who had to go to Turkey after being sentenced to 12 years in prison in Iran, has announced that they haven’t received any news from Nasibe Şemsai since she was attacked at her home.
News Center- Family of activist Nesibe Şemsai, who protested the obligatory hijab in Iran, hasn’t received any news from her.
Nesibe Şemsai is an Iranian women's rights activist and an architect and mountaineer. In 2018, she climbed Mt Damavand, the highest peak of Iran. She removed her hijab and took her photo in order to support the women protesting the obligatory hijab in Iran. She had to go to Turkey after being sentenced to 12 years in prison for sharing her photo.
Her lawyer Kurtuluş Baştimar posted a tweet and announced that Nesibe Şemsai was attacked by four unknown persons in her house located in Istanbul’s Kadıköy district. Her lawyer also stated that her family hasn’t received any news from her after the attack.
