SOHR: 18 people killed in Syria on Sunday
18 people, including four children, were killed in Syria on Sunday, according to the daily data collected by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based monitoring group.

News Center- 18 people were killed across Syria in the last 24 hours, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based monitoring group, said on Sunday.
Two young Druze men were executed three days after their arrest by General Security forces during the events in the town of Qatana in the Damascus countryside, according to the data documented by the monitoring group. The monitoring group also reported that an Alawite university professor was shot dead by an unknown gunman riding a motorcycle while the professor was driving his car on King Al-Adil Street in Aleppo and the members of the Ministry of Defense and Public Security executed a doctor in the field after arresting him about three days ago in the Qatana area of the Damascus countryside.
“Former opposition faction commander ‘Maher Al-Labbad’, also known as ‘Abu Al-Layl’, was killed, and a car wash owner sustained various injuries, by unidentified gunmen at the car wash owned by the injured man in Al-Sanamayn city in northern Daraa. The reasons and circumstances behind the incident remain unknown.”
According to the monitoring group, the remains of three unidentified bodies were found in Al-Heil area in Palmyra desert in eastern Homs countryside on Sunday. “An armed group affiliated with the Ministries of Defense and Interior executed a citizen in the field after storming the home of an Alawite citizen in the village of Tal Abdul Aziz in the eastern Salamiyah countryside.”
Three children were killed in a landmine explosion in Al-Mari’iya, a town in Deir Ezzor countryside. A 14 year-old girl died of injuries she sustained on May 8, when unidentified gunmen opened fire on her house in Mousa Al-Hawla Village in Hama countryside. A young man was killed due to financial disputes with two other bakery workers in the neighborhood of Latakia. A university student at the Faculty of Medicine was killed when a clash broke out between the “Al-Shabat” group and the members of the “Al-Haymid” group in Al-Sanmin City north of Daraa. A young man was found dead after being reported missing nearly a month ago.
