Van- On April 24, Çiğdem Ergin (23) allegedly committed suicide by plunging from the third floor of the building where she lived in Van province. After four months in a coma, she regained her memory and stated that her husband Sinan Ergin had tried to kill her. An indictment was prepared against Sinan Ergin for “attempting killing his wife” by the Public Prosecutor of Van. Sinan Ergin faces up to 20 years of prison sentence.

Meanwhile, the treatment of Çiğdem Ergin continues at a hospital.
