First international panel for “Weaving for Life” campaign

First international panel for “Weaving for Life” campaign launched by 73 women’s organizations all around the world, including the Kurdish Women’s Relations Office (REPAK), and 181 women against femicides goes virtual on June 23. During the panel, women will share the objectives of the campaign and list the assassination attempts against leading women around the world.

News Center- The Weaving for Life platform announced its foundation at the beginning of June. The platform will hold its first virtual panel tomorrow. Women will discuss the aims and objectives of the campaign and the reasons for the foundation of the platform. The women will also discuss the assassination attempts against leading women around the world. The panel is organized by the Kurdish Women’s Relations Office (REPAK) over Zoom.

The moderators of the panel are Jojo Guan from the GABRIELA National Alliances of Filipino Women in the Philippines, and Alessia Dro from the Kurdistan Women's Movement in Latin America. Vilma Almendras from Colombia, Triana Wardani from Indonesia, Fouzi Afshari from Afghanistan and Meral Çiçek from Kurdistan will join the panel as panelists.
