At least 24 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on school sheltering displaced families
At least 24 Palestinians have been killed in two separate Israeli airstrikes overnight, the Palestinian Civil Defense said on Monday.

News Center- The Israeli army conducted two separate airstrikes on Fahmi Al-Jargawi School in Gaza City. The school has been housing hundreds of displaced people from the town of Beit Lahia.
20 bodies were recovered, many were severely burned, after fires engulfed two classrooms turned into living quarters, a spokesperson of the Palestinian Civil Defense said.
According to the Palestinian Civil Defense, shortly before the school strike, another Israeli airstrike hit a home in central Gaza City, killing four more people.
At least 53,939 people, including at least 16,500 children, have been killed in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
