Tahmineh Mahdian suspended from Tehran University of Art for 5 semesters

Tahmineh Mahdian, a sculpture student at Tehran University of Art, has been suspended from university for five semesters by the disciplinary committee of the university.

News Center- Tahmineh Mahdian, a sculpture student at Tehran University of Art, has been suspended from university for five semesters by the disciplinary committee of the university, the Coordinating Council of Trade Union Organizations of Iranian Cultural Organizations announced in a statement on Wednesday.

 According to the statement, Tehmineh Mahdian was previously suspended from the university for two semesters for participating in the nationwide protests that sparked in Iran following the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini on September 16, 2022.

For two years, the student was deprived of her right to education, forbidden from entering all faculties of the university.
