More than 635 women have been killed in Syria since the beginning of 2025, according to human rights organizations in Syria.

News Center- More than 635 women have been killed across Syria since the beginning of 2025, according to human rights organizations in Syria such as the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based monitoring group, and the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR).
According to the human rights organizations, more than 400 women have gone missing or abducted in different parts of Syria, their whereabouts remain unknown. Many women have been killed and 70 women have gone missing or abducted in Sweida since the start of the attacks by the Syrian interim government.
Hundreds of women have been abducted in Latakia, Hama, Homs and Tartus, and the whereabouts of many of them remain unknown.
