Baha’i woman arrested in Shiraz
Armaghan Yazdani, a Baha’i citizen residing in Shiraz, was arrested by agents of the IRGC Intelligence on Wednesday while she was making preparations for her upcoming wedding.

News Center- Armaghan Yazdani, a Baha’i woman residing in Shiraz, was arrested and transferred to an undisclosed location by agents of the IRGC Intelligence on Wednesday.
According to local reports, Armaghan Yazdani was arrested while she was out with her mother and sister making preparations for her upcoming wedding. The agents stopped them, forcing them to return home and arresting Armaghan Yazdani at her home.
The agents searched the home, confiscating several personal belongings including mobile phones, a laptop, a tablet, IDs, photographs, and religious books and pamphlets, the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) said on Thursday.
The reason for her arrest and the charges against her are still unknown.
Armaghan Yazdani is the fiancée of Vahid Masoumi, who was previously arrested and later released on bail.
