“Everything is for a fair life. Everything is for a just Turkey,” the Şenyaşar family wrote on the 476th day of their sit-in protest.
Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar continues on its 476th day. While Emine Şenyaşar stays at her home in Suruç today due to her health problems, her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse in the morning to demand justice again.
“In March, we used to come in front of the courthouse from Suruç three times by paying 100 Turkish Lira (TL) for fuel. But today, we cannot reach the courthouse by paying 100 TL. For this reason, we decided to take a minibus (a public transportation vehicle in Turkey). Everything is for a fair life. Everything is for a just Turkey,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
