35 people taken into custody in Adana

In the morning, police raided the building of the Binevş Culture and Art Association and many houses in Adana, Mersin and Diyarbakır. According to received reports, police broke the doors of houses and battered the people. 35 people, including women, have been detained in the police raids.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Adana provincial Co-chairs Helin Kaya and Mehmet Karakış, HDP Party Assembly members Abdurrahman Oral and Ahmet Yıldız, DBP Çukurova Regional Co-spokespersons Şilan Turğa and Enver Güler, Deputy Mayor of Seyhan Municipality Funda Buyruk, Binevş Culture and Art Association employees lyas Arzu, Murat Gürbüz, Suat Ekin and Jiyan Savcı, HDP Adana executive Ahmet Akdoğan, HDP Youth Assembly member Mazlum Gök, Free Women’s Movement (TJA) activists Emetullah Akçaray and Sever Uzun, Mediterranean Association for Solidarity with the Families Who Lost Their Relatives (AYKAY-DER) Co-chairs Süphiye Bayav and Jiyan Aslan, citizens named Mahsum Uzun, Zilan Çiçek, Mehmet Saruhan, Hayrettin Öz, Mehmet Sait Dikmen, Vakkas Durgut, Evin Özbay, Dilan Yiğit, Gülbahar Akman, Yaşar Akman, Mehmet Solmaz, Bedri Şengül, Zilan Taş, Ayşe Solmaz, Mehmet Aykut, Ramazan Demirhan and two persons whose names have not been determined yet.
