Sit-in protest for justice enters its 382nd day

“We will keep struggling until justice is delivered,” the Şenyaşar family said on the 382nd day of their sit-in protest.

Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 382nd day.

Today, Emine Şenyaşar stays at home due to her health problems. Her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the Urfa Courthouse to keep holding their sit-in protest demanding justice for their killed relatives.

“In the 21st century, we are seeking justice in front of the courthouse, like Diogenes. We will keep struggling against the judicial mentality focusing on protecting the superiors by ignoring the law until justice is delivered,” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account.
