Jina Mahsa Amini becomes symbol of resistance in Iran

Jina Mahsa Amini, who was killed in Tehran by the morality police, has become the symbol of the resistance for people, who have been taking to the streets in Iran and Rojhelat Kurdistan for 50 days.

The people don’t want the regime

The anti-regime protests in Kamyaran, Bukan and Bahe, cities in Rojhelat/Eastern Kurdistan continue. People continue to take to the streets in many cities of Iran such as Urmia, Fasa, Qazvin, Rasht, Karaj, Isfahan, Ahvaz, Bushehr, Tehran and Lahijan. The people no longer want the regime to rule the country and demand the resignation of the government. The protesters keep chanting the slogan, “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Women, Life, Freedom)" and holding the photos of Jina Mahsa Amini during the protests.

Security forces open fire on people

Yesterday, people gathered in Isfahan to hold a commemoration for Jina Mahsa Amini; however, Iranian regime forces opened fire on the people. In Karaj, the soldiers of the Iranian regime attacked the people trying to hold a commemoration.
