Riha – Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız in Suruç district of Urfa province, has held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse for 52 days with her son Ferit Şenyaşar demanding justice for her husband and two sons. Her son Fadıl Şenyaşar was wounded in the attack but he was arrested. Today, Emine Şenyaşar will visit her son Fadıl Şenyaşar held in Elazığ Closed Prison after three months.

The Şenyaşar family posted a video on Twitter today and said in the video, “You killed her husband and two sons in hospital. But it wasn’t enough for you. You sentenced her son to 37 years and nine months in prison. He has been held in solitary confinement for three years. His mother is going to visit him while our protest for JUSTICE enters its 52^nd day.”

In the video, Emine Şenyaşar said, “I will go to visit my son Fadıl. He has been held in prison, alone in solitary confinement for three years. Three people in my family were killed. My three sons were wounded. They were about killed. We have faced high levels of persecution. I am going to visit my son.

Her son Ferit Şenyaşar came to Urfa Courthouse in the morning to hold the sit-in protest.
