Detained 21 journalists held in separate detention wards
According to the received reports, 21 journalists, who were detained in Diyarbakır yesterday, have been held in separate detention wards.
Amed- Yesterday (June 8), police raided homes of journalists in Diyarbakır as part of an investigation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. 21 journalists were detained in house raids.
The names of some of detained journalists are: Dicle Fırat Journalists Association (DFG) Co-chair Serdar Altan, JINNEWS director Safiye Alagaş, JINNEWS editor Gülşen Koçuk, Mesopotamia News Agency (MA) editor Aziz Oruç, journalists Ömer Çelik, Suat Doğuhan, Ramazan Geciken, Esmer Tunç, Neşe Toprak, Zeynel Abidin Bulut, Mazlum Doğan Güler, Mehmet Şahin, Elif Üngür, İbrahim Koyuncu, Remziye Temel, Mehmet Yalçın and Abdurrahman Öncü.
According to the received reports, the journalists have been held in separate detention wards.
