Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar enters its 472nd day.
On the 472nd day of the Şenyaşar family, Emine Şenyaşar could not come in front of the Urfa Courthouse to demand justice because she has to stay in Suruç to testify in a court allegedly “insulting” AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in her speeches during the sit-in protest. In the morning, her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse to hold their sit-in protest.
“The mother faces trial”
“She (Emine Şenyaşar) is a mother. Her husband and two sons were murdered at the hospital. One of her sons has been held in prison for four years.
