Wounded Pride is the first documentary directed by Sinem Atakul. The documentary film is about ignored, disregarded, unprotected domestic labor, and female domestic workers. We get to know the female domestic workers’ life stories by their words.  Female workers understand what they do is actually a profession and they realize they are part of the struggle for labor rights and they try to convince hundreds of women to struggle. The women say, “I am proud of myself…I have changed a lot…I have done a lot…” in the documentary film and we witness how women change the world.
