News Center- The members of the Zenubya Women’s Community and different women’s organizations gathered in front of the Art and Culture Center in Raqqa on Thursday, condemning the genocidal attacks on Alawites in Syria’s coastal region.

“The attacks aim to create chaos in society and fuel sectarian clashes,” the women’s organizations said in a statement. “Such attacks only serve the forces aiming at preventing the construction of a democratic Syria.”

The women’s organizations condemned the international silence against the attacks and called for the establishment of a commission of inquiry to hold the perpetrators of the attacks accountable.

“We stand with our sisters in Syria’s coastal region and will always support them. We will keep being the voice of the truth and justice. We will struggle to protect the rights of all ethnic and religious identities of Syria.”
