Deir ez-Zor- Zenobiya Women's Community office in Deir ez-Zor held a meeting with the participation of women’s committees in the city with the motto, “We will stage a social revolution through education and self-organization” to support and encourage women in all spheres of life to fight the special war policies carried out against women’s will.

Many issues were discussed

Shahrazad Al-Jassem, board member of the NE Syria Zenobiya Women's Community, told NuJINHA that they have worked to launch an organizing campaign in order to solve the social problems faced by women. After holding meetings, the community will hold a conference. During the meeting, many issues such as child marriage, divorces, polygamy and projects for women were discussed. “Women are affected by both the effects of war and economic crisis. We will continue to hold meetings and conferences in order to build a free and developed society,” she said.
