Actress Hafsanur Sancaktutan announced on her social media account that she was subjected to sexual abuse by her grandfather when she was a child. “Don’t keep silent,” she wrote in her post.

I was sexually abused by my grandfather when I was a child. I was subjected to harassment by my cousins, neighbors, and colleagues. We are not ashamed, we don’t fear. I know we are not alone. Girls, don’t keep silent. Because we are alone anymore. You are very precious. Because I love you so much,” Hafsanur Sancaktutan said in her post.

Actress Seray Kaya announced that she was subjected to sexual abuse by one of her friends’ father when she was a child. Seray Kaya posted the following tweet;
“I was a child. I was too scared to tell my family and I kept silent. I am not to blame for the abuse I was repeatedly subjected to by my friend's father. I am not scared anymore. I will continue to be the voice of children, who are subjected to sexual abuse.”
