Halabja-in the city of Halabja, at a time when men dominate most commercial businesses, two women courageously and with free will decided to step forward and establish a small workshop to produce Kurdish coffee made from Kezwan and Barru plants, stating that protecting Kurdish culture is their primary mission.

Regarding the idea of establishing the project, Rojwan Diyari, one of the workshop's founders, says: "I am a university graduate, and this is my first work experience; I have never worked before. The project idea came about with Ms. Kalthoum, and we decided together to create this workshop. We wanted the product to be entirely local and Kurdish, and we felt that making Kurdish Kezwan coffee was the most suitable choice. It is completely natural and free from preservatives. A year has passed since we started working; we began online first, then decided to develop the project, and now we have a small café that people visit daily."

Rojwan and Ms. Kalthoum are aware of the importance of preserving Kurdish food and beverage culture, so they focused on producing Kezwan coffee in an authentic way with high quality. In their workshop, wild coffee beans are carefully selected, with adherence to cleanliness and precision in all stages of production.

Rojwan Diyari explained that Kezwan coffee grows in the mountains of Kurdistan, pointing out that their goal is for their products to be entirely of Kurdish manufacture. "At first, we produced everything by hand, but now we use some machines to facilitate the work."

Their goal was not merely commercial; they also wanted to strengthen women's role in the labor market and prove that women can succeed in any field. In this context, Rojwan Diyari adds: "This opportunity opened the door to work for me, and my goal is to help other young women in the future to start their own work as well..
