Two-day strike in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province to mark ‘Bloody Friday’
A two-day strike has been declared in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province to commemorate those who were killed in Zahedan on October 30, 2022 by Iranian security forces.
News Center- On September 30, 2022, Iranian security forces opened fire on protesters gathering and chanting slogans in front of a police station near the Great Mosalla of Zahedan, killing at least 93 and injuring dozens protesters. The attack by the Iranian security forces on protesters is known as “Bloody Friday”.
A two-day strike has been declared in the province to mark the first anniversary of Bloody Friday and commemorate those who were killed by Iranian security forces. All shops, markets and businesses in the province will be closed down and people will take to the streets for two days.
According to the received reports, the Iranian regime has deployed a significant number of military forces to Zahedan ahead of the first anniversary of Bloody Friday.
