News Center- Masoumeh Asgari, Masoumeh Nassaji, and Sayeh Seydal, three female political prisoners transferred from Evin Prison to Qarchak prison, have been held in solitary confinement since July 27, 2025, the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reported on Thursday.

According to local sources, the three women have been held in solitary confinement for having protested the poor conditions in the prison.

Following an Israeli airstrike on Evin prison on June 23, 2025, approximately 70 female political prisoners were transferred from Evin prison to Qarchak prison in Varamin on June 25, 2025.

Qarchak prison is an overcrowded prison without hygiene, unsanitary conditions, and insufficient food and medical care.
