Riha- The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 280^th day. Today, a delegation of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Law and Human Rights Commission visited Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar as part of the Human Rights Day, observed every year on 10 December.

The Şenyaşar family posted a tweet reading, “I cannot sit at home and accept this cruelty. As a heart-stricken mother, I cried out for justice in front of the courthouse on the 280^th day (of their sit-in protest). Don’t allow humanity to die out!!!!!!”
