Riha- Today is the first day of the three-day curfew in Turkey to reduce the increase in coronavirus cases in Turkey. Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who have held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse, continue to demand “justice” at home today due to the curfew.
Emine Şenyaşar’s husband and two sons were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız in Suruç district of Urfa province just before the general elections held in Turkey on June 24, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse demanding justice since March 9. The family has kept demanding justice at home today.
The family posted a tweet today and said, “We keep our struggle at home today due to the curfew.”
