Shahba- The representatives of political parties and groups have issued a joint statement in the Ehdas district of Shahba to condemn the ongoing Turkish attacks in the Kurdistan Region and the betrayal of the KDP. Berivan Elo read the statement on behalf of all groups and political parties.

Underling that Turkey wants to annihilate the Kurdish people, the statement says, “A solution must be developed against the attacks of the Turkish state. Turkish fascism wants to maintain its sovereignty in both Syria and Iraq as part of the national agreement and plans to resurrect the Ottoman Empire. We call on the international community to stop the Turkish attacks. We also call on the KDP to stop implementing Turkey's fascist policies.”

After Berivan Elo read the statement, people shouted slogans such as “Martyrs are immortal”, “Long live the fraternity of peoples” and “Damn betrayal”.
