News Center- No information has been received from Malak Farajbeigi, a 43-year-old environmental activist from Bukan since she was arrested on July 1, 2025 and transferred to a detention center in Urmia, the Voice of Kurdish and Iranian Prisoners, a human rights monitoring platform, reported. 

According to the monitoring platform, Malak Farajbeigi was arrested in a house raid conducted by Iranian intelligence agents on July 1, 2025. The agents confiscated Malak Farajbeigi’s personal belongings, as well as items belonging to her family. She was then transferred to the detention center in Urmia.

The activist has not been allowed to see her lawyers or family members since she was transferred to the detention center.
