News Center- Actress Melisa Sözen was summoned to testify on Monday for allegedly “disseminating terrorist propaganda” for her role, a YPJ fighter, in “Le Bureau des légendes”, a French espionage thriller television series.

Upon her return to Türkiye, the actress was interrogated by police in Istanbul as part of an investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Melisa Sözen has faced criticism for her role, as a YPJ fighter, in the TV series. In a social media statement, she announced that she was subjected to “cyberbullying” and said, “Do not be a party to the lynching culture”.
