Kurdish lawyer Necah Omer Eros has been reportedly kidnapped by Turkish-backed factions after returning from Aleppo to her village in Afrin.

Afrin- 52-year-old Kurdish lawyer Necah Omer Eros was reportedly kidnapped by Turkish-backed factions on October 23. According to the received reports, the Kurdish lawyer was kidnapped after she returned to her village in Afrin from Aleppo for “working with the Autonomous Administration institutions.” No information has been received about where the lawyer has been held.

Human rights organizations report that hundreds of women and girls have been kidnapped by Turkish-backed armed groups in Afrin since 2018. Last week, A pregnant woman named Nemet Behçet Şêxo was tortured to death by Turkish-backed factions after being kidnapped with her husband.
