Shehba-Kongra Star office in Afrin region issued a press statement regarding the attacks on Shengal at the Serdem Refugee Camp located in the Ehdas district of Lehba with the participation of the members of institutions and organizations affiliated to Afrin Region Autonomous Administration. Rihab Elo, the coordinator of the Kongra Star office in Til Rifet, read the statement.

“Attacks are against human rights treaties”

Stating that the attacks on Shengal are a continuation of the genocide, Rihab Elo said, “We, as Kongra Star, condemn the committing crimes. The attacks are against human rights treaties. We will not remain silent against attacks on our people.”

After issuing the statement, people shouted the “Bijî Berxwedana Şengalê (Long Live the resistance of Shengal)” slogan.
