Journalist Ceren Kaynak İskit laid to rest in Ankara

Journalist Ceren Kaynak İskit, who died on Sunday, was laid to rest in Ankara on Monday.

News Center- Journalist Ceren Kaynak İskit was taken to the Başkent Hospital in Ankara on Sunday morning when she did not feel good. She was held in intensive care at hospital; however, she died at the hospital from multiple organ failure.

The 38-year-old journalist was sent off on her eternal journey after a funeral ceremony was held at the Karşıyaka Cemetery in Ankara on Monday.

The funeral ceremony was attended by many journalists, including the members of the Mesopotamia Women Journalists Association (Turkish: Mezopotamya Kadın Gazeteciler Derneği, MKG), the Dicle Fırat Journalists’ Association (Turkish: Dicle Fırat Gazeteciler Derneği, DFG), DİSK Basın-İş, Progressive Journalists Association (ÇGD), the Journalists' Union of Turkey (TGS), the Ankara Women’s Platform and Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Ankara Co-chairs.
