JINNEWS: 24 women killed by men in March
In Türkiye, 24 women and four children were killed and 14 women and one child died under suspicious circumstances in March 2025, according to a report released by Jinnews, an all-women’s news agency based in Amed.
News Center- Jinnews, an all-women’s news agency based in Amed (Diyarbakır), has released its March 2025 report on femicide in Türkiye by compiling news from local and national newspapers, news websites and news agencies.
24 women and four children were killed and 14 women and one child died under suspicious circumstances in March 2025, the report said.
In March, eight women were killed by their husbands, two by their ex-husbands, two by their estranged husbands, one by her partner, three by their ex-partners, one by a man she knew, one by her father and the relationship between five women and their killers are unknown, according to the report.
