News Center- The Abdorrahman Boroumand Center for Human Rights in Iran (ABC) released a statement about the recent kidnapping plot against US-based Iranian activist Masih Alinejad. Iranian intelligence killed, abducted 540 people abroad in the past four decades; most of the victims were targeted in Iran’s neighboring countries, particularly in Iraqi Kurdistan, the center said in the statement.

Most people abducted in Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, France, Afghanistan

Iranian intelligence abducted or killed 379 Iranian people in Iraqi Kurdistan in the 1990s. 30 people were abducted or killed in Iraq, 30 people in Pakistan, 13 people in France, nine people in Afghanistan, and 51 people in other countries. The statement drew attention to the fact that there are many unprotected Iranians who took refuge in different countries.
