Iran executes 96 people since April 21
Iran has executed 96 people since April 21, 2025, said political prisoners imprisoned in Iran in the 68th week of the“No to Executions Tuesdays” campaign.

News Center- Political prisoners in 41 prisons across Iran have been on a hunger strike to protest the death penalty as part of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign.
Iran has executed 96 people, including a woman, since April 21, 2025, the hunger strikers said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
In the statement, the political prisoners also condemned the death sentences handed down to Peyman Farahavar, a poet and activist from Gilan Province in northern Iran, and Ehsan Faridi, a student at the University of Tabriz, has been sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz on the charge of “enmity against God” (moharebeh).
They also called on international human rights organizations to take urgent action against the executions in Iran.
