Gülistan Doku missing for 500 days
500 days ago, Gülistan Doku went missing in a city watched by surveillance cameras. Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Dersim Women’s Council members flew balloons from Dinar Bridge and shared the photos on Twitter. “First, they said she committed suicide, and then they promised us to find our daughter. The result is a big lie! Man is again protected, the same mindset supports him.”
News Center- Gülistan Doku, a student at Munzur University in Dersim, has been missing for 500 days. Public Prosecutor of Tunceli opened an investigation into the missing of Gülistan Doku but there is no development yet. NGOs and Gülistan Doku’s family claimed that Gülistan Doku was killed and demanded the investigation should be carried out in this direction; however, the prosecutor and the representatives of official institutes focused on the suicide. The only suspect Zaynal Abarakov was only asked for his statement during that period. Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Dersim Women’s Council members issued a press statement on the 500th day of missing Gülistan Doku on the Dinar Bridge, where Gülistan Doku was last seen. The women flew balloons on the bridge and posted photos on Twitter under the hashtag #Gülistansız500gün (500dayswithoutGülistan).
“We will always ask where she is”
“We asked where Gülistan is on the first day and we will continue to ask where she is,” HDP Dersim Provincial Co-chair Nurşat Yeşil said, “We will keep struggling to prevent other women from facing the same thing. This burden will be always on our shoulders. We will always ask where she is.”

* Those who find a smoker using the satellite cannot find a young girl for 500 days.
*Gülistan Doku has been missing for 500 days! Authorities haven’t taken a step about this issue.
*You will set the woods on fire if you don’t receive any news from your children for even two hours! Imagine a mother not receiving any news from her daughter for 500 days!
