Girls’ school set on fire in Afghanistan

A girls’ high school was set on fire in Afghanistan’s Zabul province by unidentified person or persons.

News Center- A girls’ high school was reportedly set on fire in Afghanistan’s Zabul province on Tuesday night by unidentified person or persons. According to the local sources, the entire administrative documents and books in the school building were burned as a result of the fire.

The Taliban have not released any statement about the fire.

The Taliban have banned women and girls from going to school and since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, women and girls have been subjected to misogynistic policies. Despite all the inhuman practices carried out by the Taliban, Afghan women keep resisting to retake their rights.
