Stating that everyone has been making preparations for the Feast of Sacrifice, Emine Şenyaşar said, “My son has been held in prison for four years. We have not celebrated a feast for four years. We have spent the feasts in front of the courthouse for two years. My son should be released from prison so that we can celebrate the feast together. I do not want to sit here during the feast. If there were justice, my son would be released from prison. I want my son. Those who killed my children should be arrested.”
“Our protest for truth continues”
“We have struggled for justice for four years. Nine prosecutors have changed, the Urfa chief prosecutor has changed today. This is the 4th chief prosecutor… Our sit-in protest for truth continues because justice hasn’t been delivered yet,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
