Riha- Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who were detained yesterday while going to Urfa Courthouse to hold their sit-in protest demanding justice just before the visit of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-chair Pervin Buldan, were released yesterday evening.

After being released from the police station, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar went in front of the Urfa Courthouse to hold their protest there. Police tried to take Emine Şenyaşar to a hospital in order to receive a health report. Emine Şenyaşar reacted to police officers and said, “Enough is enough, we died because of this state. Why do you follow us? Go and arrest the criminals. Don’t follow us anymore.”

Emine Şenyaşar then went to a hospital to receive a health report with her lawyers.
