News Center- A legal case has been opened against Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018.

According to Mesopotamia News Agency (MA), the investigation opened into the attack carried out at the Suruç State Hospital has continued for three years and three months; those responsible haven’t appeared before the court yet; however, a legal case has been opened against Emine Şenyaşar by the Urfa 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance for “insulting a state employee.”

The court claims that Emine Şenyaşar insulted a state employee on the 86^th day of her sit-in protest demanding justice. AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız is reportedly one of the complainers.

Emine Şenyaşar has faced up to four years in prison. The first hearing of the trial against Emine Şenyaşar will be held on November 12.
