Riha - Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız in Suruç district of Urfa province in 2018, held a sit-in protest with her son Ferit Şenyaşar in front of Urfa Courthouse. The family has kept holding their protest at home due to full lockdown imposed across Turkey.

On the 63^rd day of their protest, the Şenyaşar family posted a tweet reading, “Where is @adalet_bakanlik? Make us believe there is JUSTICE in Turkey. Prosecutors shouldn’t follow political directives but laws. Now judge those who committed crimes against humanity in the state hospital. Here is the report!”
