News Center- Yesterday, Canan Kaftancıoğlu, Istanbul Provincial Chairperson of the Republican People's Party (CHP), went to the Istanbul Courthouse to carry out a legal procedure about the four years and 11 month prison sentence upheld by the Turkey’s Court of Cassation. She was arrested at the courthouse and sent to the Silivri Prison.

She has been released from the prison under judicial supervision. Hundreds of people welcomed her release in front of the prison.
